The Forums have a dark theme - what about the maps?

Just what it says... it would be nice to have the ShackMaps STALKER 2 map be a little less bright with the pale UI and blue/white map pins. It's a little worse for me than most because I have 2x 34" monitors and having the map open on my other screen is actually distracting from the game on my main screen.

I also use the MapGenie STALKER 2 map and while in almost every way the ShackMaps one is more updated and detailed, the darker colors of the MapGenie one makes me go back to it.

Thanks for reading!

Thanks for the message.

Our developer is on the case.

I think we can probably find a dark mode for at least the side menu.

The way our pins are made, all pin icons are white. I'm not sure what is possible there, but we'll look into that too.

But, we do have full control over the background color of pins. I've swapped the blue Items & Loot pin color with a Gunmetal Grey. Let me know what you think of that, @semirrahge, and I'll ask a few other folks for the opinions as well.

Thanks for taking the time to message us. We'll get it sorted out.

Wow, thanks for such a fast reply! And yes, just that change did make a pretty big difference even with the full white icons

Thanks again and I look forward to additional updates!
