Stalker 2 Map Updates

Featured Replies

Just wanted to let people know that we're actively mapping Stalker 2. Our priorities are as follows:

  • Mapping the new areas uncovered with Cost of Hope

  • Adding newly released items found throughout the world (binoculars, etc)

  • Doing a pass on the entire map to fill in gaps

As a reminder, there are two features available to those who are signed in that will benefit the map, and your own play through:

  • Add Pin: This allows you to add your own pins to the map just as you can with the in-game map

  • Suggest: If you come across something we've missed, you can suggest the pin and once we confirm it, we'll add it

We'll post more progress updates here in the future.

Three things that are changing:

  • We'll be marking Safes as their own group

  • Also marking keypads as their own group

  • Vendor inventory pinned with notable items

Safes and keypads were previously buried inside of stashes or locked doors, which doesn't make sense. We'll be breaking those out into their own groups (this has already begun). As for vendors, we'll pin notable items, but not everything. Pinning everything will cause clutter, but high-end weapons, binoculars, NVGs, suppressors, etc. Those are worth pinning.

Thank you for your pin suggestions. I'm going through and verifying them as quickly as I can. Keep them coming. The map is only getting better with all the help from the people using it.
